Memorandum of understanding with college innovators, Nitte

Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences and College Innovators, Nitte signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 7th February 2022. The MoU signifies the interdisciplinary collaboration between Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, Mangalore, Institution Innovation Council, Nitte (DU), and College Innovators, Nitte. Dr. G. Sriniketan, President IIC Nitte (DU) highlighted the need for student mentoring and emphasized on the various supportive measures taken by the management to initiate and foster Research & Innovation in healthcare setting.

Principal Prof. Dr. Fatima Dsilva stressed the need for innovation in the clinical area so that problems faced at work by the nurses can be resolved creatively. Mr. Keerthan Prabhu, Founder & CEO, College Innovators, an alumnus of Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) stressed the acquisition of skills for the lifelong utility of education. He also elaborated on the scope of mentoring nursing students. Prof. Dr. Jacintha Veigas, Coordinator, Student Innovation Club (SIC) NUINS welcomed the guests and coordinated the event. The HoDs, faculty, and students witnessed the event.
