Voter awareness drive

The NSS Unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, Regional Directorate of NSS, Bengaluru, conducted a Voter Awareness Drive on Shaheedi Diwas, 6th April 2024, at the University Auditorium, Paneer campus.

Dr. Chandru Hegde, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, Mangalore University was the resource person. He enlightened the audience about voting rights, enrolment procedure and voting-related apps.

Mr. Shashi Kumar Shetty, NSS Program Coordinator, Nitte University along with Mr. Sukesh, Mrs. Sarita Telma Fernandes, Mrs. Jeevitha Alva and Mrs. Keerthimala K, NSS Program officers of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, were present.

A total of 110 NSS volunteers actively participated in the program.
